Different ideas to hold an event during COVID-19
During this time, the pandemic has mostly postponed any events that have been scheduled. Birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers and even weddings. I know it is such a difficult time but there are many different ways to still have that event.
There are many tools on the internet that can connect you with those family members and friends that you haven't seen in months. This blog is about a couple different ways to celebrate and hold that event even during COVID-19.
Zoom group call- zoom is a internet software that allows you to connect through video chat with multiple people. It is a very popular way to connect during this pandemic, I have used it personally many times so far and I will continue to use it. The one thing you can do and I've suggested this to clients is to still decorate for the event, but have a zoom call instead of having guests over. It makes the environment more fun and welcoming for the client and it is a good way to experience the new reality.
Driveway Social Distance Party- This is another popular way to hold a small event for a birthday party, gender reveal, baby shower, or many other smaller events. You would allow a couple guests to come over and hang out in your driveway and still manage to social distance. You can decorate and have either catered food or make food for this event and still have it be a typical event party.
Drive By- This is a nice way to show the love for a client, family members and friends. You invite your guests to drive by your house at a certain time and that will allow the client to feel the love on the special day! You would decorate the front yard and make it fun and a big quarantine celebration for the client.
Those are just a couple different ways to celebrate and hold an event during this pandemic. Hiring an event planner will help you will take the stress off planning, and will help you create the vision you want.
Stay safe and stay healthy!
